about

el monteon was created in the dead of winter in Winnipeg Canada, while dreaming of the warmth and culture of Mexico. El Monteon is a small pueblo north of Puerto Vallarta, a town the represents the magic of Mexico, where you can walk into a town expecting nothing and walk out after an experience you’d never have imagined.

This song came from experimentation with beats, sounds and my horn, and emerged just like the magical moments that can be found in el monteon.

lyrics

The translation of woman speaking German at the intro:

"I miss these morning hours for a long time.

Today it's a kind of nostalgia.

The day of memories!

Longing!

I would trade all my future days for just one yesterday with you."
